DREA Ochocos Rainy River came to us from Deckers Redeagle Appaloosas of Alvadore, Oregon. The Deckers have produced some of the highest quality foundation bred Appaloosas in the country and this colt is one of their finest!
We are thrilled and excited to incorporate Rainy as one of our herd sires at DSA. This young stallion portrays all the quality, intelligence, disposition and athleticism as well as an impeccable pedigree that any breeding business could hope for. It also won't hurt that he is a few-spot and should produce 100% color.
He carries 5X Toby and 5X legendary Ghostwind bloodlines as well as other foundation notables i.e. Chief of Fourmile, Stud Spider, Double Six Domino, Mansfield Comanche, Red Eagle, Nugget Jim, Wapiti, Apache, Sundance and Grandson to Decker's own Pratt Sully Fire.
Rainy is showing us tons of versatility in his action. He could easily compete in English or Western disciplines as well as endurance. He is well behaved in mixed company and an absolute sweetheart to handle. We eagerly look forward to how the public responds to him.
