IT's a COLT!
DOB 5/16/2011 ~ DSA Rustee Tomahawk
I don't think Thunderbird could have stamped himself any more clearly than he did on this handsome colt. He is nearly the spittin image of his sire. This is Thunderbird's first and only SON to date as he has produced 4 fillies of 5 foals total.
This kid is a dandy too. He is heavy TOBY breeding with Chief Chelsea tossed in for refinement! You couldn't go wrong adding him to your program.
Don't let him slip away.
Born to
Yodies April Joker B X WR Tobys Thunderbird
This foal will be attending the 2011 Halter Futurity at the "Best in the West" horse show in August.
This COLT is offered FOR SALE. $3,500- will hold to weaning with 1/3 deposit

A HUGE congratulations to Jesta Ranch on the birth of their Thunderbird baby. She is just stunning as we knew the foal would be with this cross. Oh, AND she appears to be a SHUFFLER! How cool is that!!!

DSA FOAL POLICY
Due to the amount of horses already flooding the sales market, we have a very selective and strict breeding program. We are not randomly breeding our horses just because we have them to breed. We are happy to breed one of our mares of your choosing to one of our stallions at your request per private contract. Of the few foals that we do breed for every year, we will reserve the right to geld the colts by 6 months of age if we feel that that horse is NOT stallion material. Meaning that if we feel the colt does not exhibit exceptional conformation, disposition, AND color, then he will not be sold as a future breeding prospect.
All colt gelding decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. DSA is seeking the best complete package in the offspring our horses produce for sale.
If DSA has a colt that you would be interested in as a possible future breeding stallion, we strongly encourage you to contact us right away with your interest. We are happy to work with all potential buyers.
Our babies born here are handled daily from birth. We dedicate a great amount of time working with the foals so they are exposed to new things. Our methods are natural based and intended to build confidence during exposure to new experiences. They halter, lead, tie, bath, pick up feet, lead, are introduced to obstacles, and load in the trailer. They are used to tractors, dogs, and other scary things around our property. You may guarantee that a foal purchased from DSA will be "tame" when it steps off the trailer for you. We take a great amount of pride in providing this service to our prospective buyers. We believe it sets the stage for success for the foals from the beginning.
