April has been with us since she was a two year old. We received her as a gift and she was our first Appaloosa owned as a couple. She was born and raised in the Millican valley, just East of Bend, OR. She is the product of the foundation breeding from the Behee ranch. Her sire, dam and grandsire all spent time on the endurance trail and her granddam was an ApHC Endurance Medallion winner.

She has had one foal for us, a black colt in 1999 by Pratt Stormy CC and she was an exceptional mother. She is Noell's personal "baby" and our goals for her are to produce at least one filly before she is retired permanently to just being the Matriarch of the pasture. She may also be raced on the endurance circuit for an ApHC medallion.

We are still learning about the "Indian Shuffle" gait, but we are pretty sure that April does it. Whether it is the shuffle she does or not, she is Definitely gaited.
